If required, Polarity Automation can take on the complete development of a software project, and will assign a project manager to work closely with your management and engineering teams to provide regular and frequent status and progress reports.

We follow an Iterative Software Development Process, where the system functionality is built up over a series of software releases. The number of iterations will depend largely on the size of the project and the time scale between iterations, which is usually a few weeks. The first software release is a simple implementation of a subset of the requirements, and may not necessarily be released to your external customers. Time is planned in the cycle to evaluate the results and measure progress of the project.

The Iterative Process provides more frequent updates on the overall progress and project expenditure, compared with a Waterfall development model. The increments are also used to obtain feedback from the various stakeholders  as to the direction of the project. This allows adjustments to be made to the project if situations have changed. For example, a stakeholder may think of significant improvement that they could not have been imagined until they actually started using the system. Such a change can be added to the requirements and planned to be released in a subsequent iteration. The stakeholders can therefore influence the shape of the product while the project progresses.

Project documentation will include the software development project plan, customer requirement specification, project risks, test plan, software design, software documentation, test results.

We are also keen to take on smaller projects or provide maintenance or porting to new hardware for legacy systems. We are always interested in discussing any such requirements you may have.
