Polarity Automation can assist your company in managing a project or part of a project by working in the following areas:
Task Management
The objective is to ensure the project is completed on time, within budget and with high quality.

This can be accomplished by the following:

Tracking events with regular status review meetings

Tracking requirements - does each phase of the product meet requirements

Reviews of the design, code, test results and documentation

Configuration management for code and documentation

Managing change - plan for this to happen as it invariably will

Adjusting goals and milestones following status reviews

Risk management - act on results from risk management activities

Testing - module testing, integration, alpha and beta

Team Management
Are the staffing levels adequate? Do people need re-assigning from another project or is outsourcing or recruitment necessary?  In any of these cases it is important to pick the right people for the job, taking into account different personalities, and not just play a numbers game.

Technical leadership should be in place, noting that this role has a strong influence on the motivation of the team. Also, each individual should be respected and treated fairly.

The project manager must be able to communicate effectively, including information of a technical nature.

An assessment of the organisation’s software development capabilities is required.

Product Support and Maintenance
The team dedicated to this task needs to understand the level of support that is expected. Who is to deliver 1st line, 2nd or 3rd line support? What is the maximum size of change that can be handled by each level of support? What is the process for handling and prioritising requests?

Closeout & Evaluate
Hold a lessons learned review. Were any milestones missed along the way and what was the reason? Which areas can be improved during the next project? Which parts went well and ensure that these methods are carried forward to your next project.
